This was a rare day for me, I was 4x4ing north of fairbanks here, I saw these at a distance by the trail i was on. I got up close and stopped , walked up to the outcrop they were on at top of hill. They all ran back into thier holes, I sat down right next to a bunch of theyre holes and sat there for only a few minutes and they started coming out, half dozen or so of them. I have a whole lot of pics of them including some video i took. Made my day. Was within 10 feet of them, they were very friendly.
