Here's a couple of shots of the same cabin, one in summer and one in winter. I chose the b&w presentation as I feel these old buildings are a bit melancholy and alone, and I think b&w captures that feeling for me.

I like the snow in the first, and the lack of distraction from the fence wire in the second. Both good.

Hmmmm... I didn't really notice the fence as a possible distraction until you pointed it out! Great having more eyes on the image, and this will help me in the future. Thanks!
