On this day, I had spent the best part of 5 hours walking around Whitby looking for inspiration but the weather was just not doing anything for me. The sky was almost a continous tone of grey.
As I stood up by the Abbey, I looked North and could see what appeared to be a storm brewing so I decided to make the 20 mile journey to a place called Saltburn By The Sea.
Just as I arrived, the rain was starting to fall, it was to windy on the pier for the large format camera so I grabbed the small wooden pinhole camera from the bag, placed it on a tripod and gave the film a 15 second exposure.

Who needs a multi-dollar lens when you can poke a hole in a bit of aluminium foil ?
