Winter Beach Walk

I try to walk at least 4 miles, three or four days a week. Other days are different exercises. Each walk seems to bring something else to photograph. Here is a collection from todays meanderings along the winter beach.

Love that last photo, "The Old Man of the Ocean!" Funny thing is an all my years living on the ocean, I never once saw a bird with a Starfish in it's beak, and here you've shown me two of them. Amazing! Must be Orange County vs L.A. County waters!!

Luck was with me today. Timing helps too as the past few days the surf has been especially strong. Lots of interesting things down at the tideline.

Excellent shots pmorin, looks like a wonderful place to have a walk about. I try to have a good walk every day..unfortunately the weather we get over here makes it difficult to do that!

Thank you, there were starfish amundo on the beach that day, the gulls were perplexed as they didnt know how to eat them, but they wanted it soooooo bad.
