I love beavers. Not too long ago I saw a nature series show that described how beavers are used to revive areas that have gone arid. It was very interesting.

You are right about the affection in a beaver family. The kits are never left by themselves. Older sister will sit if mom leaves the lodge. They are constantly touching the kits. When I rehab an orphan kit I have to carry it around in a baby pack on my chest. You were very lucky to see this in the wild. Beautiful captures.
