I think, judging from many of the replies, that Some haven't quite tumbled to the realization this image was created on April First ??
NOT, mind you, that we MAY yet see it presented on Shark Tank :)
Sometimes, ideas do come out of an April Fool's object.
Years ago, there was the kid with the disease that left all of his bones very brittle. He could not go outside and move on his own without some damage. A couple of engineers got together with a medical equipment maker company. They came up with the ideas used on dropping eggs unbroken. They created a fully enclosed tricycle. When the kid got into it, he wound up doing things that would have put dune buggers to shame. The video of his antics was the best crowd pleaser at the trade show.
I figure if we can get those folks together with the designers of Rover, somebody can get something for us, walker users, that would help us with our "shooting"-s.

I see someone beat me to it, but here's my take.
I thought that I would be proud of him and then realised that even unseen and from down under, I am proud of him. Both he and his carer have lovely smiles and are a credit to all those who must love him.

I'm gonna file this one away for future use!
Mine has a small pack on the front for extra lens filters etc and a water bottle holder! Oh and my daughter painted it gold

But if you want to take company along, just put on the Lexan UV filter, the helmets, and go.

Thanks for your kind words Fred, yes, I am one proud and thankful dad. chase
Very sorry to hear about your son’s accident. He is lucky to have a supportive father like you! I would be proud as well. That is great how he managed to continue his passion! Its not easy to be in his condition at all. Very hard to do anything!!
Its also great for his mental attitude; and I’m saying this first hand!
I to had an accident almost (4) yrs. ago
that left me with a prosthetic femur, difficult balance and neurological spinal issues needing extensive reconstruction. I was forced to stop working as a surgeon and needed to close my office.
Still your son has it worse!
I know how important it is for him to be able to continue things he enjoyed before his accident!! I commend how he manages his photography. I wish him the best.
I like the idea that someone had about using his “walker” as a monopod!! I have been trying to use my walker/rollator to stabilize me enough to not feel like falling while holding a camera & lens, and Not drop the camera as well if not around my neck!
Thanks
I agree with you 100% My thoughts exactly. If it could help with holding a camera, think of all the other possible uses?
I would make one addition. It needs a drink holder as well.
What a clever setup. I'll keep that in mind in case I do need a walker one of these days. There are times now that I wouldn't mind having one, but I don't really need it yet.
Hi, very interesting!! Never thought I could use something like your “walker/monopod”
idea, but after a fall resulting in a Fx femur and then a prosthetic femur/hip + additional problems; it may be helpful.
Just one thought to add is that if you let go of the walker & mounted camera the weight may tobble it over!
Still a great idea!
