Poet Robinson Jefffers built and lived in this house in Carmel, CA. This link will give the information on Jeffers and this unique house. We were not allowed to take photographs inside the house and tower, so the photos in the link will show some of the rooms. The second floor is closed to visitors as being unsafe.

Thank you John for your nice comments. It was a a wonderful look at a most unusual house. I must say that the stairs to the top of the tower were narrow, steep and not the easiest to climb, but the view was spectacular.

Wow, I didn't think you wanted to move to California!
. Are you in good shape to climb the stairs to Hawk Tower? That was not the easiest of task for me. Narrow, steep and no hand rail, but once you reached the top, the view (no fog that day) was magnificent. BTW, I was not in the reflection, thank goodness.
Well. my dear friend, I spend so much more time painting than taking pictures, that this is about all I can do,
but I will try!

Oh.... sadly the stairs are a no go... I get winded walking up to my daughters apartment on the 3rd floor!! lol... It really is beautiful though and what a view!!
Photography is instant gratification... I know it take time to paint, as with me it took too long to make a quilt... so I switched!! lol..
