Took a little trip up to central Florida to check out a protected area that has Florida Scrub Jays. None were curious enough to land on my head but they did hang around so I could photograph them. I think that they were a little chilly today as was I.
Found the spoonbill in Sebastian on the way home.
Love your Scrub Jay shots! They are beautiful birds and your captures are excellent.
Thank you Cw341 for looking and commenting. Much appreciated.
Great pictures! I especially like the bird in flight!
Thank you donnie910. I look forward to the spoonbills nesting which is vrey soon.
Great captures of an endangered species. Shame you have to travel to see them. I have 4-6 of their cousins, the western scrub jays, visiting for breakfast every day year-round and they have badittude!
Thanks Corky. 'Tis the season to get out and shoot more.
Thanks for looking in Erv.
Thank you for looking and the kind comment Orange Crate.
Thanks for stopping by and looking Leicaflex.
Larry,
Thanks for looking in. Like the Hatfields and McCoys. You wonder how they got so separated. How do you like the 850 and the 200-500 with the MB-D18? I'm having a great time but still on the bottom of the curve. I don't have the grip. I'll check my Christmas stocking next year.
