Beautiful David...birds must be the toughest guys...over there they're freezing and here they're burning up with the heat yet they still carry on...ours are coming right into our patio to escape from the burning sun..

Hello Bob

Our Robins are very small, but their cuteness hides a darker side. They are very aggressive, particularly when defending their territory. I am very pleased that you liked them. Thank you very much for viewing and for commenting, always appreciated.

Hello Ron

You are right. Birds seem to have developed strategies to cope with all kinds of extremes. Thank you very much for looking and for commenting, and for the thumbsups, always appreciated.

Hello Erv

Can't blame them! These have gradually spread north from Africa and Iberia. The first recorded breeding in the UK was only about 20 years ago and since then they have taken up residence in parts of Scotland but only in very small numbers and no sign of them breeding here. Just too cold for that. Thank you very much for looking and for commenting, always appreciated.
