Sometimes I will do a b&w conversion from because of thechnical considerations - like noise. See example #1 shot at maximum ISO
Sometimes when PP:ing I also wonder how an image would look with b&W conversion from the raw file. #2 is a vacation shot.

RichardTaylor I really like this group

I rarely "think" in "industrial" terms. Liked those, Clicker. Liked the fernheads JJ and landscapes too. Nice ones, RichardT. Here is one - took it last week and converted it. I too, find BW conversion often works well in "noisy" and "high noon" images. This was neither - a cold cloudy day.

I know how you feel. We're supposed to get a thaw this weekend, up to 48F.

Fine images Ann, I see you've been to Marblehead, too. Where did you get your eagle shot? I get them at the zoo or Sandy Ridge Reservation in N. Ridgeville.

I get some at the zoo. I think that's where I got that one. I also go to a couple different parks and watch them.
