B&H Deal Zone

I just got an email from B&H Deal Zone for something I bought over a year ago. Maybe 2 years. It's a dual suction cup window mount for cameras and/or camcorders.
I use this a lot when I drive around looking for pictures. It's especially great when it's cold outside and you pull up to something you want to take & you need the camera steady. Of course you shouldn't drive with it on your window because it blocks your view and sticks inside the car & can hit you in the head.
Here's the link:

BTW, I have NO affiliation with B&H other than being a customer.

I have the 3 suction cup version of this Fat Gecko mount. I've mounted a gopro camera in various locations outside on my subaru outback. It's rock solid on bumpy roads.

Hmmm! I can see how that would be more solid. I'm tempted to think it's a little overkill for a GoPro. I think I bought a small GoPro branded mount for mine.

BTW, Aren't Subarus great? I just bought my 4th. A 2018 Legacy with Eyesight.

Yeah for a Gopro it's a bit much but I bought it so that I could use it with my DSLR if I needed to. As far as the Subaru, yep, love it. I think they are coming out with a bigger model this fall, one that will pull a larger camper. We almost bought a 2017 model outback but decided to wait and see what the newer model looks like this fall. https://www.caranddriver.com/features/the-2018-subaru-ascent-is-a-car-worth-waiting-for-feature

I saw the adds for it. Very nice. Too big for us which is also why we didn’t get the Outback.

We are thinking about buying a camper and need something that can pull it. Right now, our 6cyl OB will only pull a tiny camper. As far as our Outback itself, we travel quite a bit, just came back from an 8500 mile road trip. The Outback is comfortable and has plenty of cargo room. With the 8.7 in ground clearance I have taken it off road and it performs nicely.

The major problem with not getting an OB or larger is my wife. She's kind of small (4' 10") and doesn't like to drive bigger vehicle. We only have the new Legacy since Jan 2nd and she still hasn't driven it. She prefers her Impreza.
BTW, Before our 1st Suby, a 2002 Impreza Outback Sport, I had a 1996 Jeep Cherokee Sport. The Impreza was far better in snow than the Jeep.

The DealZone link has expired. The standard URL for the Delkin Devices Fat Gecko Dual-Suction Camera Mount is https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/610980-REG/. They also have single and triple suction mounts, FWIW
