It amazes me the number of totally idiotic posts and replies made on this site by user Chris T, but the below post forwarded to me by another user also on the HUGE Chris T ignore list has got to take the cake.
I do not know this guy and have never posted on his threads as his posts have all been pretty much pointless and many have been nothing but crap. But he sure does like to see his crap in print.
This is an actual post of his on one of his threads:
This is a fallacy, that continues to be perpetuated, on this site. The fact is - an EOS Mount - is an EOS Mount. Any EOS lens can be mounted on ANY EOS camera.
There is no difference! ... If you are not sure, try it, yourself. You will be quite surprised, I assure you.
What a total waste! I cannot stop laughing at this guys total incompetence!
It is more than incompetence - is it is misleading (especially to new people).

The problem that he doesn't have a Canon full frame camera and an EF-S lens to mount on so that he could damage his camera and lens. He just said. I started to have real problem with the ignore list policy on the UHH now. Supposedly if you ignore someone then you won't see any post makes by that person but the UHH should allow that person to post in any thread for other members to see.

I make it a habit never to involve myself in his threads.

Agreed! With all the equipment he claims to own and I believe he claims to have been a pro at one time - when viewing some of the few posts he’s put up in the gallery, I thought he could do as good a job with a cell phone. One of his threads ended fairly quickly when someone told him to quit posting silly questions and go out and shoot something.

I don't know who that idiotic post came from. I don't remember reading anything so stupid.
By the way, what is an EOS mount?
On the other hand, while I do not participate, he has quite a large following. He stands on his soapbox and likes a buddy-buddy first name repertoire. Apparently some like the story time atmosphere.

I did see one post he put in the Main section, that ADMIN properly moved to the gallery at Chris T's regret. It was some very poor quality, poorly composed snapshosts of some red cars in a parking lot. If indeed he actually OWNS all the gear he claims to have, its clear he has never persued any interest or education in how to actually USE any of them.
He seems to ignore anyone willing to argue with his idiotic ramblings, and many who he clearly knows see through his wall of BS.

LOL What a relief it is to hear this! It’s as if he asks questions just for the sake of controversy... been ignoring his threads for some time now

I'd like to see Chris T ignore this- plus hope all of his followers get to read this thread,
Well stated to all who have participate in this thread and to all who come after me

That does seem to be the case with this clown. He has a very short history here but brings a LOT of controversy with him. One has to wonder just how pitiful a life someone actually lives to resort to such a pointless level of attention seeking. I have to consider the possibility of him being a patient in a mental hospital somewhere? Nothing else really makes a lot of sense.

The fact that he has such a large following is a sad commentary on the UHH in general. I’d be embarrassed if anyone thought I participated in his posts, and I don’t participate in other posts as much as before for fear one of his followers might reply to me! As I said in another thread about him, it’s not the type of crowd I want to be associated with.
Richard, that's one of my peeves about this site, the misleading information. People new to photography can be easily misled and that is just wrong.

He is welcome to respond to try to defend his incomptency should he feel the compulsion to do so as he is not on MY ignore list.
But I am totally sure he does NOT want to get into an argument about his lack of photographic knowledge with anyone who actually HAS said knowledge. LOL

Absolutely! I have spent over 6 years here with the intent of dispelling posted myths and exposing frauds like Chris T.
We have all seen many of them come and go!
