Rt. 276 from Waynesville over the mountains to Brevard....may be my favorite road in the area. Waterfalls, pastures, barns, mountains, wildflowers, sliding rock, picnic areas..... I pack a lunch, take my camera and tripod and just take things easy.

Really beautiful. Wish I wasn't so cold natured or I would have been up there myself. I was there during an ice storm several years ago and will never forget the magic views.

That's a beautiful road and a really curvey mountain road, too! Bet you get some great pictures.

Got colder as I went up, of course. Was 22 at the parkway along with a howling wind. I was so excited I never got even got chilly! May go back today. I think I could give more thought to composition not being so excited. I am really pleased with my new camera (Olympus em 10 Mark II mirrorless).
