Oregon Inlet, Nags Head, N.C. Sunset from last Monday (1/8) night. This was about 5 days after the very rare snow fall of about 5/6 inches and the extremely below normal temps. Frozen solid, it looked more like Alaska than North Carolina. This wont happen very often in our part of the country! It was a very remarkable experience.

Isn't there an ancient open air theatre in the round at Nags Head. I was last there in 1953.

I'm not from Nags Head, but close by in Manteo is The Lost Colony. As North Carolina's longest running outdoor drama, The Lost Colony Outdoor Drama on Roanoke Island, NC has been in production every summer since 1937...
