jredick's post of a porcupine in a tree reminded me of our encounter. A few years ago a bold porcupine would set up between 10:00 AM and 3:00PM near the intersection of ski trails by the Supreme Lift at Alta, Utah. Everyone would provide treats until a tourist provided fingers with the treats. His complaints resulted in the Forest Service "relocating" the porcupine.
