Itâs been awhile since Iâve posted anything. Our daughter was very sick last year. She is getting better. Here are some photos from our last trip. I went to Mammoth looking for wildlife but didnât find much so went over to Mono Lake. Here are some shots of the Lake.
All are nice, but the first one really clicks for me with the placement of the foreground tower, its reflection, the background, and the horizon. The lovely even lighting works very well here.
Thank you for the comments.
Beautiful, isn't it? Last October we were leaving Bishop at 5:15 am to get to the south Tufas by sunrise. Temperature was in the low 40s. Everybody remarked that I wasn't that bad. I said that we're at 3500 feet, Mono Lake is at 8500 ft elevation, just you wait. It was 32 deg F when we arrived.
It was bloody cold when we got there. The only thing that saved us was there was no wind. Thank you for taking a look and the comments.
