I have just started shooting RAW after years of  shooting onlyJPEG and I am looking for a "good" program to
edit my RAW photos.

I have used ACDee for years for the JPEG editing and really l like it. They have two good RAW programs:
1] ACDee Ultimate 2018
2] ACDee Photo Studio Professional 2018

Does anyone use these or know anything about them?

Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

Contact the designer/distributor of the ACDsee program for answers to such a massively broad question.
Why not just ask something simple like “what is mankind and why is it here”.

I'm still working in Pro 6.
I prefer Adobe Camera Raw, but I do a lot (hundreds) of photos in batches sometimes.
I think my boss, who is not a pro, but a decent photographer, just got ACDee Photo Studio Professional 2018.
He's out of the country and I don't have access to it, but he seems to like it.

What camera do you use? That information might help guide some of our responses.

I have used Picasa, Photoshop Elements, Photoshop CS 3, 4, and 5, and Lightroom 3, before I finally settled on Adobe Creative Cloud (Lightroom CC and Photoshop CC). This is a subscription service at $10 per month which includes frequent updates. I do most of my processing in Lightroom and the special stuff in Photoshop. While there may be a number of free programs out there, I have no desire to change. Good luck on whatever you decide.

“Member tca2267” is quite clearly a troll working for ACDsee, one of its advertising companies, or one of its affiliates with the all-too-transparent intent of promoting recently released ACDsee Ultimate 2018. His User Name is a code. He is located “in hiding :)”. No occupation. No interests. No website. No birthday. No feedback. No specified gear used. He registered in Feb 2015 and since then has posted 3 topics and 4 responses. He says he has used “ACDee” (mis-spelling it) “for years and he really likes it”, but now he claims to be at a total loss regarding using the software for Raw images. He wants us to start at square one and teach him.

It is apparent that the Ultimate version can in addition to RAW editing be used for photo manipulation. I think for your needs all you need is the Professional version.
They have a detailed product comparison on the website. Check it out and choose according to the features you are going to use.

I have Ultimate. Great extension for windows explorer.
As an editor, ACDSee is powerful but it does not come close to PS CC in power and versatility.

To annotate an image I prefer ACDsee to anything else.

ACDSee can help finding duplicates but does not have the power of 'Awsome duplicate finder' (free).

So, in the end, it is all about what you expect and your needs.

You woke up on the wrong side of the bed to be so prickly today?

If the guy is transiting from JPG to raw, his question is legitimate. Personally I use ACDSee and find it lacking in many areas but great in others. This answer does not make me an ACDSee stooge, I hope.

Not so prickly, just not fond of being lied to or spoonfeeding members who make no effort, such as consulting the ACDsee company regarding what the difference is between their Ultimate and Professional products. Hint - it usually spells that out pretty clearly in the online sales information. Other options: online chat, FAQ info, email to the mfr?

Trust me, I want folks to do their homework first.

I do not see his question as 'pro' anything as he gets mitigated answers on the program. These answers are not exactly raving reviews.

WOW......
I am a really nice guy but guys like you who "troll" sites and look to stir things up piss me off.....  it's obvious that you are a real "jerk" to post what you did and refer to me as a "troll working for ACDsee. I have nothing to do with ACDsee other than using their products for years.
I am sorry that I didn't have enough information about myself posted to make you happy....

As for my user name being a code.....it was my LEO badge number! So you wanted to see my interest
go look, I posted "some" of the things that I have done.... I doubt you could even come close to the things that I have done. As far as YOU teaching me, I doubt you could teach me anything except for how to be a jerk!
