Thank you Richard, I have to come clean on this one, we went out last weekend to the md zoo, and my granddaughter who's 10 ask to try and take pictures with my camera, she's responsible for that, and it wasn't cropped or anything. So now my wife's mad that she got bit by the shutterbug, because she said it's a expensive hobby, and I thought lady if you only knew what was around her neck lol
lol dasper, thanks for the confession! But I hope you'll let that talented little girl use your camera occasionally so you can share her future images with us. Your wife may not realize what the possibilities are in the field of photography. I suggest you google Women Professional Photographers. Among the fields in which the ladies are prominent are fashion, portraiture, journalism, travel. advertising, and public relations. On the basis of that one image you posted, I'd say she has the "eye" that sees good composition, which is something most snapshooters would desperately love to have, but don't. Your granddaughter doesn't have to use an expensive camera while she grows into photography -- there's enough time for that. I recommend a beginner book on photography for her next birthday and an appropriate used digital amateur camera. That "expensive hobby" could be her bridge to an exciting and profitable career!
