Taken yesterday just north of Morro Bay, California. Taken with Nikon D850 and Tamron 24-70 Di lens. 1/8th sec @ f/18, ISO 100. Merged as pano and cropped in Adobe Lightroom. Finished in Adobe Photoshop with Topaz Adjust. The Nikon D850 takes HUGE files 5 Mb each. This pano was 1.07 Gb when combined, and required a lot of system cycles to process.
What is the island? What are the three smoke stacks on the left?
The "island" is Morro Rock, one of the Nine Sisters that stretch from Pt Mugo to Morro Rock in Morro Bay, California. The three stacks are the Southern California Edison Power Plant in Morro Bay.

As a Central Coast dweller, I can assure you that the sunsets are usually better than the sunrises. Nice image. I would have not thought to fix the incoming waves either. Good Job!

Unfortunately, last week, the overcast never really cleared by sunset.
