I was a local park yesterday and saw this old tree that looked really nice so snapped a pic on my iPhone 6S Plus...

That's the kind of thing that I most often see as 'A picture asking to be taken!'
That is one, I'm sure, that could be taken from various angles at different times of day.

Now there’s a tree that has known many years of rough living/near dying. And yet, it continues to flourish, it seems. A great example to warrant “HANGING IN THERE”.. I’m glad you saw it and SAVED it to show us. Thanks... RJM

The pic doesn't do it justice. It spoke to me of time, survival, and life itself. I plan to go back with the Nikon and do a few more shots to see what I can create with it... I'd like to be able to sit down with it and take down all of what it's seen over time...
