These were taken from a distance through a not-so-clean window so the focus is a bit on the soft side. BTW, the grey one is a juvenile who hasn't yet taken on the white plumage.

Commonly referred to as "Rats with wings".

But, they have a job to do too.

If you wanna see and photograph Nature's most effective "Waste Disposal" creatures, take a drive to Hinckley, Ohio in mid-March and see the Buzzards; https://www.tripsavvy.com/buzzards-of-hinckley-752532

Hinckley is less than 100 miles from where you live.

I've heard about Hinckley and check it out but in the mean time we have plenty around Bald Mountain, especially in the early fall when dozens of them perch in the trees. Did you know that when they are startled they will vomit - totally gross!!

Not gross it's one of nature's way of coping.

Years ago I used to do the same thing after drinking too much.

Also, if reincarnation were true (which it isn't) I'd like to come back as a Vulture after I died.
Reason: I'd never go hungry.
