Most those living in darkages

Colorado was one of the first States to legalize marijuana, and it won't be the last one. Just like alcoholic beverages, there are taxes on it. And the government will get its share, regardless if they approve of it. Will problems arise because of legalization? Of course there will be. Just like Alcoholic beverages. And we will see a new young crop of millionaires made from selling it, Legally. If you drive your car a lot, drive carefully. Now, you have alcohol and pot users on the streets to contend with now. DUI for pot?

Yes, there are numerous health benefits. But, recreational use is not a health benefit. Unless you say, if I smoke a lot of pot now, everyday. Maybe I won't have Diabetes in the next 5 years. Foolish thinking. I would say.

It's all about $$$$ as it is with Tabaco and Alcohol. Sure pot has some medical benefits and that's what it should be used for. We don't need to cultivate a society of pot heads...we have enough screwed up people running around and we don't need anymore!

Far less problems with pot smokers than those that drink.

I've read the "studies" and the "results" and I'm not impressed. From my experience, much of the population that are pushing for medical MJ see it as a way to use recreationally legally. I know that there are several successful Youtube channels dedicated to showing how to take advantage of the system to get that kind of access when it's really not necessary.

There are LOTS of ways to successfully deal with diabetes other than get high.

No...just those who don't agree with these "supposed" benefits that keep getting bandied about.

Folks who don't agree with your position aren't "dark ages" they just disagree with you. It doesn't mean that they are less enlightened, just not convinced.

That's really bad argumentation to imply that anyone who doesn't agree is living in the dark ages.

I have seen the benifits directly from child with autism. Her mother finally agreed give it a try. There no words to describe the difference. It made in that kid. From bouncing off the walls to sitting down an talking to you. Those that have disbelief should get to know some. Instead of standing back voicing an uneducated statement.

That's not the part I was dis-believing; it was the blanket statement followed by the veiled insult for those who disagree.

I would never say that there isn't and won't be ANY medical benefits, just that my experience is that 90% are wishful thinking.
