The Jack Reacher series is about an US Army MP Major. It is a great series; this is the 24th book. I "binge read" the first 21 in a row.... that's how much I like them. Lee Child is a good author and writes with a partner in other series. This is a particularly touching story about a female major who is horribly disfigured in Afghanistan. It is about the ordeal she and so many other wounded veterans face after their injury. It can be read as a stand alone book if you wish. Jack Reacher is an honorable bad-ass with an admirable sense of duty, fairness (including "private justice") and personal integrity. I highly recommend it.

If you of you have books and series you enjoy and wish to recommend.... have at it. I am constantly reading and looking for new titles.... this was so good that I read this in two days... it is that absorbing.
