Lightroom CC Classic Vs. Lightroom CC - A Poll
DWU2
Loc: Phoenix Arizona area
Here's the final count, unless more voters surface:
Classic 78
New CC 0
Both 6
LR 6 or older 4
Although a few people are trying the new Lightroom CC, while continuing to use Classic, the number of persons voting on this forum who are only using the new product is zero. It would appear that experienced photographers are underwhelmed with the new, feature-lean Lightroom CC.

Maybe Adobe would be interested in these numbers.

Adobe probably knows when you open their apps each time. At least if you have an internet connection.

When you first install an Adobe app there is a question about sharing usage data. It is easy to speed past it and forget about it. It sets a couple flags in your account. I checked mine and did a screen shot. They are keeping an eye on me! It is an option to un-check the boxes.

...and they know when you're naughty or nice, too!

I posted the results on an Adobe forum. If there is a reaction, I will relay it.
Classic, often off the grid for a week or more at a time, seldom even have consistent cell coverage, cloud support would be impossible and not worth trying for those times I could have access.

Don’t kick the dragon. They may force use of the web-storage model and I don’t feel like changing software.
Web storage only, I'd have to switch to something else. Web only is not an option for me.

Not likely. LR CC is here to stay. It is Adobe's platform for mobile devices. That is a huge market. Much much bigger than all the DSLR users combined.
I saw a poll on another Photography web site, more representative the consumer market, it showed closer to a 50/50 split between CC and Classic licenses. Maybe that was new licenses? Not sure. So 100 or even 1000 people on UHH are not going to change that.
However, when opening LR, sometimes a questionnaire appears, UHHers who have opinions are encouraged to utilize that opportunity to provide feedback.

Both mostly classic.
OH! The 3nd person on UHH using LR CC!! What do you use if for?
"What do you use if for?"
I started last year learning to use what was then called "Lightroom Mobile". The idea was/is that my phone has a pretty good camera in it. Through shear magic, I can snap a picture and it shows up in my computer.
Adobe added and improved the tools with "Lightroom Mobile" and "Renamed it "Lightroom CC". It works very well, for what I think it is intended for.
No, I don't use the new, cloud LR CC for my "real" camera work. Internet connections are too slow for the 40,000 pictures I have.
