I can't believe it caught the hummer!!! Those things are so fast. Amazing moment in nature (although a little tough to see) captured. Nice work. Gary

I may be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if that Egret just made a mistake
and thought the hummer was a big bug!!??

He ?? caught and ate 4 Hummers before I got the hose and ran him off. He was Hummer hunting

That is two different Hummers, he ate four before I ran him off. He was Hummer hunting

Not the result I expected when he landed on my porch. I was delighted he picked my porch for a momentary stop, grabbed my camera hoping he would stay for a few shots, not expecting him to stay for a few Hummers.

Nice camera work. Not easy to catch that kind of action.

Many people do not seem to realize that nature is not the nice sweet world they live in. It is mostly eat or be eaten.
