I am buying a new car that has Apple CarPlay. On e of my favorite, and most useful apps on my iPhone is WAZE. Do any of you know if I will be able to use WAZE from my iPhone on Apple CarPlay.

Thanks and,

MERRY CHRISTMAS, HAPPY HANUKAH, HAPPY NEW YEAR, and generally speaking, HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ALL!

Yes, apple car play can control your phone & apps. Note: the latest OS upgrade included a feature to detect when your driving and hold messages & calls. It replies with user is driving. You can turn it off. I use it and like not being bothered while I’m driving. I have the wake app, but use it rarely. Metro Atlanta roads are so overloaded it does not help much.

Once a week we drive from Long Island to New Jersey to babysit. I know the route like the back of my hand but WAZE gives me a lot more information than any of my GPS units or Apple Maps. I never travel without it.

I have that “do not bother” feature on my iPhone. Good idea. I think I’ll turn it on next time.
Thanks.
Happy Holidays to you, too.
