What is your definition of stupid?

Failing to accept or acknowledge factual information/truths - dumb on the other hand is really short for "dumb to a fact or have not learned through education or experience "YET" which is short for You'r Eligible Too

I suppose there were a lot of folks in Hitlers Nazi Germany that thought his theories were based on factual principles, Germany had some of the greatest minds that ever lived at that time, yet they followed him to total destruction. My question is, were they all stupid or misled? I am a little confused as to why you would consider me eligible for asking a question?

OH Please don't think I put "YOU" in my definition of YET as it is a phrase used quite often in personal recovery groups as when some one says they have not gone to Jail - they are often answered with that one word -YET- followed by laughter as they know it is the truth.
I enjoy conversations with intelligent open minded members here on UHH - you seem to be one of those your posts seem to indicate you are one of those - even the one where you thought I was attacking you.

As for the smart people in Germany being duped - I think they were out numbered by the dumb and stupid - history books also mention the thousands who fled before and during WW11

Thank you, Harvey, for your explanation, I believe your statement will support me when I say, any peoples, whether sophisticated or backward can fall prey to the deception of people we entrust to rule over us. How many of us have left the car dealers thinking we got one over on the car dealer. I would like to point out that the conspiracy people, who are sneered at and scorned, maybe just people who have a better memory than most. Corruption will always claw its way to the top, that is the brass ring of the corrupt. I am not stating that the theorist is correct but the closed minds of history should be a warning to be vigilant and more than a little skeptical.
