Just sharing a few images from Colorado this week. We're here in Estes Park visiting family for the Christmas Holiday. If you look at my UHH moniker, you'll see that I'm a warm weathered west coaster. I'm not used to this kind of weather, but IMHO, winter is one of those special times for photography. Took a drive up into the Rocky Mountain NP hoping to get to the top of the overpass to see the elk herds. Well that area was closed, but the deer and elk came down to lower feeding grounds just for me LOL. It was snowing and windy the whole time we were up there, but the animals seemed to take it in stride.
Last night we walked around the main area of Estes Park. Not many people were out and about, just us foolish ones. Shot a nice image from our cabin and some christmas lights from the area.
Hope you enjoy you holidays,
Mike

Very good Mike, boy does it look cold.
Thank you so much for sharing photos of Estes Park. I vacationed there every summer when I was young and I owned a camera store there for a few years but sadly my wife and I moved to Phoenix in 1999. OMG do I miss that place!
I lived in Boulder growing up and have been there many times. Its one of the nicest settings in all the places I have been in Colorado.
