Well this should be an easy one.
The buzzards I had to turn around and get the shot, they were just off the road, I guess waiting for the next road kill.
The Pelicans fly over this area every year, I know it not sharp, hand held 300mm, download it and you can see them better.
Very nice woodsliv... Our cat always wants to sit between me and the keyboard too.....thankfully not ON the keyboard....

I've finally slowed down enough to go through some of my pictures here in Oregon. Been out enjoying the scenery, and the wonderful birds and animals I don't see in the City. Here are a few of the many I have taken, along with my beautiful guide and assistant, my brothers daughter Emily.
Very very nice Mike... and your guide is perfect. Love the wheel? in the water and the HDR long shot..

ewww pat that's funny glad you didn't crop it any closer!
p1 Glad I could make someone laugh. If hubby knew I posted it, he'd have a fit. Told me it was totally obscene. Well, nature does what nature needs to do!

p3 Thanks, TeriO Husband thought it was gross, obscene etc. when he saw it months ago. "You wouldn't post something like that, would YOU?!" Said "It's a natural thing". He mumbled something and will never know I posted it.

Can anyone tell me why I no longer get the link for the current day? The last one I got was for the 4th. So far as I know I haven't changed anything.
Lodquey, the deer in the woods is perfect!
Redpurna, that is the best photo of a koala I have seen and the only one with a baby!
Wow, nice shots E.
Re: the link. does not come to each of us automatically.. you need to go to the end of the day before and Photogirl posts the link for us all - or - go back to the Photo Gallery - you can go directly to the search bar and ask for "Day 189" or what ever day the next post is. Photogirl puts the links up very late each evening and if I don't catch it that night, I just go back to the previous day, go to the end of the pages and go back until I find it... by doing that too, I get to see whatever photos I may have missed..

Welcome to Day 189 :) Today it's all about Natural Habitats. A subject that I thought would be much more simple that it actually was. I tried not to go to the zoo .. so as a result I didn't find too much around here. Here are a few examples to get us started .. I look forward to seeing what y'all come up with.
I'm not going to be able to find any "new" habitats today, too much to do, so I'll posta couple I just took a few days ago and some archived.....have fun y'all
Didn't realize the spider was there until I blew this up.
The bees love the small sweet blossoms
And the butterflies love clover
My niece returning the tiny frog to his habitat
Cows- pretty cows - where they are supposed to be - on the range.
Hubby in his natural habitat - on a ball field - officiating
Twilight on the Mojave where the clouds are in their natural place...a 3 pc pano
