My wife, daughter and I went to the oceanfront yesterday (it was an unusually warm winter day) and I took a few shots with my D850 and Tamron 70-200 2.8 G2 lens using off camera flash and a gold reflector. Does the gold add too much? Appreciate all feedback!

Leaving the "goofing off" photo out of the discussion, the lighting looks very natural. The first two photographs are quite nice.

I had used a gold reflector in indoor lighting several years ago and it did not work. But yours outside look very natural. It adds to the ambience and is very smooth. Good shots and the D850 photos look great.

Thanks! I was worried about the reflector in the middle of the day.

I like the color of the shots. Makes it look like sunrise or sunset lighting. Your daughter has beautiful eyes! I like all 3, even the goofy one. Also, your camera captures a LOT of detail. Cheers.

Thanks! It was midday and partly sunny, so I had to do something with the light.

Nice shots, the download did not work for the first picture ( second and third=fine), all I got was a black rectangular with an x in it!

Thanks for looking! I tried the first and it opened, no problem. Weird.
