We've had the pleasure of providing flowers for the Preservation Society's Holiday Gala for several years now, and the building never ceases to amaze me. Last image is ceiling above grand ballroom (note visitors peering over 2nd floor balcony in lower right corner).
And these were essentially 'summer homes' for their owners in their time!

Been there but not during the holiday season. What a special place. These were the neighbors of Jackie Kennedy so it's understandable that her along with the Kennedys were considered American Royalty. Beautiful photos of the place.

Nice. Well done! I was there about 6 years ago and was told I could not take pictures inside. They must have changed their policy. Nicely done, Steve.

Spent 2 years in Newport, courtesy of the US Navy, loved it. Been to the Breakers, beautiful.

The Vanderbilt Summer home on Bellevue ave. Not bad for a summer place. Your photos brings back a lot of pleasant memories, thanks for the show. A great place to visit. My favorite room is the veranda. With It's great view of the surf, hence the name of the cottage (that's what the wealthy on Newport called those estates)
