Childs Innocence

I was asked to do a family photoshoot. Most of the shots were done by the Christmas Tree, but this young one wanted to do some photos on the couch. This is one of the photos, the expression on her face I found very touching. I would love to hear other's reactions.

Great shot! With little ones the best shots are the ones you get, you can't set up. I find you mainly shoot, as one other ugly hog stated - 'machine gun mode', and go through the set and find the best and most interesting photos. And contrary to most mothers and grandmothers feeling, faces not looking into the camera with dirt, smudges and dirty faces, unruly hair, and even dirty clothes are acceptable if it conveys what looks good to you!

Yes, her hair is all messed up as she was wearing "antlers" just a bit before. yet, I don't see it as an issue, its part of that moment. Her mom was busy tending to the baby and we took the opportunity for a few shots, 'as is'.
