A few tiny nicks on the exterior, but the glass is excellent. IS and AF work as they should.
This has been a wonderful lens. The only reason I'm selling it is that I'm moving to another
format.

Wonderful lens ... as good as the big brother when both are shooting at f/4 and above and it weighs so much less. Only time the big brother is needed is when you absolutely need that extra stop.

Not the original owner, but purchased it as recertified from B&H last year. There is no simple date code on this one, just the serial. I believe there's a way to decode it. Date code is 1102.

The body looks very good, how about the glass? Rubs, color change, dust, etc?
I'm curious about the Vello hood --- usually B&H recertified has the Canon accessories (or at least the caps and hood)

The glass is excellent. It originally arrived with the Canon hood. It was loose, and I complained to B&H. They sent the Vello hood at no charge.
