Fort Belvoir, Virginia Community Hospital was opened in 2011. These shots are from two different shootings. The Night shot was in December 2010, just as the sun was setting, while the hospital was still being built. All the lights were on as they were installing equipment and wiring throughout the hospital. It would be difficult to get the same shot again as it's nearly impossible to turn all the lights on at once without disturbing the patients in the hospital. The day shot was in June 2011 as the sun was coming up. I waited until the brick of the buildings was illuminated by the warm morning sun to get the nice brick color.
Each shot is 7 frames taken from the same spot and merged in photoshop. I didn't plan on doing the same image at two different times until I saw the sunrise view about six months after I had made the night image. Luckily, I was able to find my exact spot as I had to stand on the concrete construction barrier to get my camera/tripod in a position to clear the chain link fence. You can see in the second image that the lights have been installed in the parking lot, what you can't really see is that in the first shot the parking lot was still not paved.

I think it would have been better with the night shot on the bottom. I think what you have done is neat.
