An Android app, Helmut, allows you to scan film negatives and convert them to positives.
I used it as a camera to take this photograph and then modified the color a bit.

That sounds cool. I still have a lot of negatives in boxes. Might be a fun family night to bring the past back to life.

You take a picture of a negative, and it inverses it to a positive. But you can also take a picture of anything to get a negative effect.
