I found this You-Tube video featuring a series of short topics related to full frame vs crop, image quality, etc. It is informational, instructive and I believe it may create some discussion here. Your thoughts?

Interesting, sort of, but I wouldn't buy one or the other based on this video. What I would want are side-by-side images to examine and enlarge. By the way, expect this to moved to the Links section soon. For some reason, we can't include links to what we are writing about in the Main section.

Sorry Jerry.....I didn't know the rule about "links." Interesting thing about this video is that it is actually a series of related topics, end-to-end. As each topic finishes, another begins. Some good information relative to many of the questions raised on this site recently.

This thread will be moved to the Links Section automatically because it has a URL cited in the first post of the thread. That is listed in the rules for this section and applies only to this section.

The trick to get around the rule is to only state what will be done in the first post but do not put in the link, and then make a second followup post that has the actual link of interest.

First post: "I am going to.post a link ..."

Second post: "Here is the link ..."

As a hobbyist i would not spend that kind of money to get a full frame camera. My Canon 7D is my main camera and like everything about it. It serves my purpose.

Years ago I am taking a walk. I am walking from uptown to downtown. I'm stopped at the corner to wait for the light to change. I casually look up the block and I see this line. I walk over there to see whats up. There was this little storefront and there was the soup Nazi. He was doing a ton of business.

Look who's explaining how to break the rules! I guess only Street Photography has ironclad policies.

The suggestion was to work within the rules to accomplish a desireable and effective overall result.

You could learn lot from that type of action rather than making up these less than astute insults.

Don’t kid yourself. The suggestion was to work around the rules. And I insulted no one. If you took offense, it is because you recognize that you impose your definition of street photography ruthlessly and without exception, in violation of that section's rules. Spare me the list of authorities you love to cite.

Spare you a logical and rational approach!

BTW, if a rule was broken, which rule? Name a rule specifically broken, not your concept incorrectly devolved from one.
