These are fantastic shots! Although I have heard owls in the wild many times, I have yet to get a decent image of one.

I love the barred owl photos. Birds are one of my favorite photo subjects. I was recently at the back side of my property and a barred owl was in an old tree staring at me. All I had was my phone so I was able to catch a pic.

Stunning shots! I especially like the pair in download. You were lucky to be able to get the pair. I see them in the spring at about mid April, then no more.
I am going to a wildlife program this Sunday that is all about owls. Maybe I'll be able to see some.

This Summer I was able to locate and photograph several Barred Owls. Just about every backroad I went on had a pair of Barred Owls. The Barred Owl will respond during the day as well as the evening. Their calls are remarkable have more than the other types of owls. When Barred Owls join up in the woods the have a Caterwauling call where all the owls start call at the same time.

wonderful post, thank you!

I enjoyed this set of Barred Owls, restrict. I'd be happy to see even one. Would you be kind enough to send some my way? Love the ones you captured in flight.
