After Trump supporters tear down the FBI, the media, the legitimacy of elections, etc., what will be left of our country? Will you really be happy if only Trump and Faux News are left standing?

There will be a bunch of Trump supporters grunting, dragging their knuckles, and scratching their asses.

Really, you are going to tell me how to comport myself?

Maybe you can defend Tom's statement below and enlighten me as to how he is something other than a raving lunatic.

"If he is successful, he might save the nation; otherwise, goodbye USA. Our nation is under the most serious threat since the Civil War.

Might I remind you that those who were in disagreement with president Obama suffered 8 years of not understanding his policies or the rationale of those policies as we watched him increase our country's deficit to twice that amassed by all presidents who came before him, and just what did Obama accomplish? We watched in disbelief as president Obama pushed and extended the boundaries of the Executive and threatened the balance of power between the branches as he legislated by executive fiat from the Oval Office. We watched president Obama turn back race relations in this country to their most unsettled since the 60's as he practiced his identity politics and he did so not for the good of the country, minorities or any other citizens or groups in our country, he did so simply to retain his and his party's grip on power. It is laughable to watch these people here, yourself included bash the president day in and day out, we have the group that includes Tom, SS, Donna and others who believe that Trump has committed crimes against this country, they follow and fully believe in the democratic talking points about Trumps so called unlawful and unconstitutional actions. They decry and slander him when he undoes Obama's unconstitutional action by placing the DACA decision back into the hands of the legislature where it belongs, must I remind you that federal courts have already ruled Obama's DACA action unconstitutional? How many times will the dems challenge and celebrate lower court rulings on Trump's enhanced immigration policies only to have those lower courts slapped down by SCOTUS.

Personally, I see Trump as having some kind of turrets condition where he has to strike out at anyone who he feels has defamed him, he is childlike in that respect, certainly not becoming of a president or a world leader. But, when that is set aside, Trump fashions himself and his policies much like those of Ronald Reagan, The democrats have convinced themselves that Reagan was a terrible president, fine, if they are really that brain dead then they are beyond hope, Reagan turned around a recession that was as deep as that inherited by Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter was a hapless president who presided over double digit interest rates, high inflation, a stagnate economy and a country in despair, let us not forget his Malaise Speech, Carter turned over a country in shambles to Reagan. Reagan so inspired our country that he won reelection by sweeping 49 of the 50 states only losing Mondale's home state of Minnesota by 0.5% of that state's vote. Currently democrats here are arguing that tax cuts will hurt our country, just as many still argue that tax cuts under Reagan are structurally responsible for the deficits of today. It is all total bullshit, the facts are as follows and can easily be verified by US government reports; Reagan dramatically reduced tax rates all the way across the board, when demonics say that Reagan then raised taxes 11 times that too is not actually truthful, he did not raise the rates but rather flattened taxes by removing certain loopholes and deductions, never in any year did he collect less revenue than did Jimmy Carter in any year, and in the 5 years, 1984 thru 1988 Reagan's tax plan and resulting economy increased federal revenues by 50% also interesting median incomes in this country increased by 25% during his two terms. It is easy to verify, just do a little home work and read the numbers from government sites, numbers report without bias so they are quite easy to believe. Yet here we are day after day with the dems on this site saying that Trump will destroy our economy and our country when all empirical evidence available to us indicates quite differently, job growth has accelerated under Trump, labor participation has increased under Trump, and for the first time in many years we are seeing upward pressure on wages, and Trump has not even been able to enact his agenda because democrats are fighting him at every turn. If allowed to implement his agenda we would see maybe not Reaganisk numbers but numbers, employment growth, and wage growth that we have no chance of seeing under democrat governance. Obama's recovery was one of the weakest that this country has ever seen, sure he walked into a mess, but the fact is that economies always recover and Obama's recovery even though he took us $10 trillion further into debt sucked. His idea of stimulus was paying off his bundlers, supporting public unions through grants to state and local governments, and through rapid expansion of entitlement programs all the while flooding this country with illegal immigrants, oh, and burdening the American people with his healthcare program, while demonizing corporations and significantly raising taxes on small businesses. In sum, his policies did a lot to slow the recovery. In my opinion Obama was not a good president, and if it helps, neither was Bush, Bush had purer intentions than Obama but he failed on some important issues such as the Iraq war.

Now, you tell me how to behave myself on this site but what you don't seem to understand is that there is a philosophical divide in this country that has reached a breaking point, there is nothing that I could say to Tom that would make him listen to me or listen to reason, this whole thing about Trump must be impeached to save this country has consumed what little rational capacity he may have had and it is gone. Having known Tom and watched his posting through the whole Black Lives Matter, Trevon Martin, and the Michael Brown ordeals I know just how ideological and unreasonable he is. So, please, don't ever intercede between Tom and I or for that matter speak to me as if you are my father... It does not fly well with me, I don't consider you to be my intellectual superior nor do I think that you are better informed than I, so please, keep your thought regarding my behavior to yourself.

In fact I WILL!

You asked me a serious question about Trump AND I TOOK THE TIME TO GIVE YOU A THOUGHTFUL ANSWER.

You completely ignored it while others who are reasonable and rational people appreciated it. You couldn’t be bothered to even acknowledge it, yet it was in response to YOUR request!

Your only posts since have been petty personal attacks that were off point.

So yes, I recommend that if you can’t stay on point then say nothing. Given you more recent posts, you appear that it is not enough for readers to feel you’re a closed minded extremist; you go ahead and confirm it in writing so our opinion is indisputable.

Next time you ask someone a question, have the integrity to answer it or confirm for everyone to see you are nothing more than a coward with a keyboard.

I tell you what, your post said very little, let me see if I can summarize it in just a few words, Trump's behavior and personality are very much a concern and to be considered in his fitness for office, the economic success we have seen in the last year are based on two factors, one, corporate anticipation of Trump's rolling back regulations allowing them to pollute our environment and take advantage of our citizens, and the continued success of Obama's policies as what we are seeing other than the stock market rally is simply the continuation of the trends started under the Obama administration. Did I miss anything? No, I did not go back and read your response so it is possible that I did, but I really don't consider your post to be so considered as you do. I also disagree with you as I have made clear in the above post. The reason that I have not taken the time to give a thoughtful response is one, I did not actually consider your post to be very thoughtful, you brought no figures or insight to back up your statements, and secondly, unlike most here, I still work for a living and do not spend all day or evening here on this site, often if a post requires a considered response it may take days for me to respond to it even though I may leave short responses to the outrageousness of the left....

Now, let me give you some advice..... you would do better in the future to engage me in asking me questions about how to use your extension tubes and your micro lens than in here in the Attic because I will not be polite to you here, I will however, if you ask nicely, teach you all you may care to learn about Macro Photography.

Your words and actions reveal your true nature. Apparently you don’t realize how badly you represent yourself; most people would be embarrassed.

Your latest trick is a perfect example. In a separate thread you created, you called me a liar and then placed me on your ignore list preventing me from responding. The trouble is, You had confused me with someone else. the topic was Trump’s Christmas tree lighting. I never saw let alone post on that thread!

I see you edited your post - such a fraud! A copy of your original post is attached above). In it youtell me to “go screw myself” but your edited that out and put some silly sentence about teaching macro photography.

LOL, You’re a class act. You don’t even have the courage to stand by your word. I won’t miss you.

Really, it is you who is confused my friend, I never called you a liar nor have I ever placed you on an ignore list, nice try though but please feel free to find that thread and post a link to it, I would really care to see it. Now, I would still like for you to defend Tom's words that engendered my strong response to him, it would be kinda like me calling Obama insane and the very future existence of our country depends on our ability to remove him from office... This is pretty much what Tom said about Trump and he did so in all seriousness, and you scold me for it.... I tell you what old man, I have had about enough of your silliness and bloviating sense of moral superiority.... It is nice though to see that you own a camera, most creatures of the Attic never venture out, it makes one wonder what attracted them to the site in the first place.

Jackass, I edited my post before seeing your response because I thought better of it, but here I call you a Jackass and I will stand by this statement, no editing here.... I don't exactly what you mean by my not standing by my word, if you want me to reintegrate my go screw yourself comment even though I had second thoughts about posting it.... Well, sure with this post you have rekindled my disdain for you so here ya go.... Go SCREW yourself! Now, does that make you feel better?

Does this mean we are not friends? Why Blurrey, I do not think I could bear it if I thought we were not friends.

You presume what you think matters to me. It doesn’t any more than my opinion matters to you. The difference is I don’t make personal attacks or resort to jeuvenile taunts and name calling. That’s what you did to Tom, that’s what you do to me.

Now what was that point you made about me and moral superiority? If You think so, well you have a right to your opinion.

Give it a rest. I disagree with your politics and the way you treat others with whom you disagree. We have nothing in common and find each other to be unworthy of further thought.

Take a chill pill and enjoy your holidays. We’re done.

You see, you should have just taken me up on teaching you how to use your Micro lens, you would have found it much more satisfying.

Nice work; not subject matter that interests me but I admire your skill. It appears we both love nature but, not surprisingly, we see it from different perspectives...

Enjoy your holidays

Why haven't you been suggesting to wingers that they "give this shit a rest"? It's possible I'm wrong, but I have always associated knuckle dragging with science denying, and we know which side that is.
