Really, you are going to tell me how to comport myself?
Maybe you can defend Tom's statement below and enlighten me as to how he is something other than a raving lunatic.
"If he is successful, he might save the nation; otherwise, goodbye USA. Our nation is under the most serious threat since the Civil War.Might I remind you that those who were in disagreement with president Obama suffered 8 years of not understanding his policies or the rationale of those policies as we watched him increase our country's deficit to twice that amassed by all presidents who came before him, and just what did Obama accomplish? We watched in disbelief as president Obama pushed and extended the boundaries of the Executive and threatened the balance of power between the branches as he legislated by executive fiat from the Oval Office. We watched president Obama turn back race relations in this country to their most unsettled since the 60's as he practiced his identity politics and he did so not for the good of the country, minorities or any other citizens or groups in our country, he did so simply to retain his and his party's grip on power. It is laughable to watch these people here, yourself included bash the president day in and day out, we have the group that includes Tom, SS, Donna and others who believe that Trump has committed crimes against this country, they follow and fully believe in the democratic talking points about Trumps so called unlawful and unconstitutional actions. They decry and slander him when he undoes Obama's unconstitutional action by placing the DACA decision back into the hands of the legislature where it belongs, must I remind you that federal courts have already ruled Obama's DACA action unconstitutional? How many times will the dems challenge and celebrate lower court rulings on Trump's enhanced immigration policies only to have those lower courts slapped down by SCOTUS.
Personally, I see Trump as having some kind of turrets condition where he has to strike out at anyone who he feels has defamed him, he is childlike in that respect, certainly not becoming of a president or a world leader. But, when that is set aside, Trump fashions himself and his policies much like those of Ronald Reagan, The democrats have convinced themselves that Reagan was a terrible president, fine, if they are really that brain dead then they are beyond hope, Reagan turned around a recession that was as deep as that inherited by Barack Obama, Jimmy Carter was a hapless president who presided over double digit interest rates, high inflation, a stagnate economy and a country in despair, let us not forget his
Malaise Speech, Carter turned over a country in shambles to Reagan. Reagan so inspired our country that he won reelection by sweeping 49 of the 50 states only losing Mondale's home state of Minnesota by 0.5% of that state's vote. Currently democrats here are arguing that tax cuts will hurt our country, just as many still argue that tax cuts under Reagan are structurally responsible for the deficits of today. It is all total bullshit, the facts are as follows and can easily be verified by US government reports; Reagan dramatically reduced tax rates all the way across the board, when demonics say that Reagan then raised taxes 11 times that too is not actually truthful, he did not raise the rates but rather flattened taxes by removing certain loopholes and deductions, never in any year did he collect less revenue than did Jimmy Carter in any year, and in the 5 years, 1984 thru 1988 Reagan's tax plan and resulting economy increased federal revenues by 50% also interesting median incomes in this country increased by 25% during his two terms. It is easy to verify, just do a little home work and read the numbers from government sites, numbers report without bias so they are quite easy to believe. Yet here we are day after day with the dems on this site saying that Trump will destroy our economy and our country when all empirical evidence available to us indicates quite differently, job growth has accelerated under Trump, labor participation has increased under Trump, and for the first time in many years we are seeing upward pressure on wages, and Trump has not even been able to enact his agenda because democrats are fighting him at every turn. If allowed to implement his agenda we would see maybe not Reaganisk numbers but numbers, employment growth, and wage growth that we have no chance of seeing under democrat governance. Obama's recovery was one of the weakest that this country has ever seen, sure he walked into a mess, but the fact is that economies always recover and Obama's recovery even though he took us $10 trillion further into debt sucked. His idea of stimulus was paying off his bundlers, supporting public unions through grants to state and local governments, and through rapid expansion of entitlement programs all the while flooding this country with illegal immigrants, oh, and burdening the American people with his healthcare program, while demonizing corporations and significantly raising taxes on small businesses. In sum, his policies did a lot to slow the recovery. In my opinion Obama was not a good president, and if it helps, neither was Bush, Bush had purer intentions than Obama but he failed on some important issues such as the Iraq war.
Now, you tell me how to behave myself on this site but what you don't seem to understand is that there is a philosophical divide in this country that has reached a breaking point, there is nothing that I could say to Tom that would make him listen to me or listen to reason, this whole thing about Trump must be impeached to save this country has consumed what little rational capacity he may have had and it is gone. Having known Tom and watched his posting through the whole Black Lives Matter, Trevon Martin, and the Michael Brown ordeals I know just how ideological and unreasonable he is. So, please, don't ever intercede between Tom and I or for that matter speak to me as if you are my father... It does not fly well with me, I don't consider you to be my intellectual superior nor do I think that you are better informed than I, so please, keep your thought regarding my behavior to yourself.
