I'm in the process of 'unearthing' years of accumulated photographic equipment, in an attempt to 'get my house in order'! I've also decided (since joining UHH)- that it was about time to update and replenish my 'fine art' jpeg files'. So, with that being said...I've put together a 'set-series' of (recent photographs, with all shots being captured with one of my 'bridge'-style point and shoot digital cameras.

*Lumix DMC-FZ70 Digital Camera: 60x Optical Zoom____The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ70 Digital Camera is a bridge-style point-and-shoot digital camera that features a 16.1 megapixel High Sensitivity BSI MOS sensor and Venus Engine image processor to produce high resolution still imagery and full HD 1080i/p video with notable low-light quality. The combination of the processor and sensor enable a native sensitivity range of ISO 100-3200, which can be further expanded to ISO 6400. The processor also affords a wealth of speed to the camera, including the ability to record up to 9 fps in a 3-shot burst, 5 fps with one-shot AF, or 2 fps with continuous AF.*

Nice looking photos. I saw that camera and handled it last year at my local Best Buy Store. If I had known it was that good, I would have bought it. It is now discontinued, and has been superseded by the FZ80.

The Lumix model is my point and shoot favorite, I have two, one is the first model they came out with, I have lots of camera gear but the light weight quick system of Lumix is great for quick documentation shots, I have no problem with the quality of results.
