Can one "hide" posts from certain other UGG members?

Is there a feature on the UGG forum to hide posts of certain other forum members. There are several who have posted 3000 - 4000 posts in LESS THAN A YEAR and most are so rambling, contributing little to the thread to the extent they are boring and unnecessary. I'm not trying to be ugly, just frustrated with some who waste forum space and time. I am a member on a computer forum and this capability is present and easy to use. Please forgive me if I step on any toes. I just looked at the user list and there are many contributors with many, many more posts than that, but they are brief, clearly stated and helpful.

since this forum actually has only been around for about a year, all members are "new".

There are a few members that have over 3,000 posts that are full of very useful information (Roger, Rpavich, GoofyNewfie to name a few) some that have over 8,000 posts that post just to hear them selfs speak. I personally have over 4,000, and I freely admit most of my posts are just back and forth posts with other members I have become friends (I talk alot) but please feel free to ignore my posts if you like. I'm pretty sure I don't have anything useful to say any how.

MWAC, you are one of the people who posts that usually has something informative to add to topics. So don't cut yourself short.

don't read what you dont want to read. but what you may find trivial, others can find usefull as well as entertaining. Everyone has a right to express themselves, ESPECIALLY in the GENERAL CHIT CHAT NON PHOTOGRAPHY forum.
