I have great respect for what an MRI magnet can do. GE medical, who makes MRI magnets, used to be my customer when I worked for Tektronix. Not only could we not use a scope anywhere near one (the field pulled the trace off the screen), but the first day I went there, everyone was evacuated to the outdoors. Turns out someone failed to secure a gas cylinder to a support colum with a chain as was standard practice at the plant. The magnet pulled the 100lb cylinder across the floor where it hit another column, breaking off the valve and flooding the plant with an inert gas.
