Fantastic image. Love steam engines and I would welcome more pictures of these no matter who shot them.

So a friend of your wife's brother's wife shot this. Huh! I thought Photo Gallery is for posting photos YOU shot.

Rather a rude remark! I see it's ok to repost Your images even if I didn't take them. Get Your cheerios upside down this morning?

Don't know why this would be an issue when he stated up front who took it.

Sorry, my bad. Yes I just read the rules for this section and you are right. I will try to remove this image as soon as possible so you can rest easy. Sorry that I have affended you so.

Thanks for taking it down. I have had several sleepless nites ever since it has been posted in the wrong area, hoping that this disgusting breach of etiquette would be remedied. Oh, what a tragedy! You are to be commended for removing it and atoning for your horrible affront to soiciety.

But, on the other hand, I am glad you posted it for everyone's enjoyment. Thanks.

Wow, really nice winter picture of a steam engine doing what it does best, 'Belching'....Pere Marquette Berkshire Style Locomotive, #1225, was this the train used in the Polar Express?

Thanks for posting. It's a good shot and I don't care who took it. Just appreciate the photo. Why complain? In this day and age there's too much complaining and not enough of the positive. The photo is awesome and I enjoyed it. Again, thanks for posting it.

I guess I need to know where the rules are.... I tried to find them to read (but could not find them) so I don't ever get in trouble!
At any rate, I really like the photo! You will have to ask about the lack of tracks, I think we would all like to know!

Love the shot!! FYI- a little history of this engine. It was restored by the Michigan State University Railroad Club beginning in the early 1970's and was used as a model for the book "Polar Express" written by Chris VanAllsburg. I passed by the engine every day that I was going to school at MSU. The last I heard, the engine was being used to take passengers on excursions several times a year.
