Hummers

I'm pretty sure this is a male Anna'a Humming bird but I'm not sure. Does anyone know about hummingbirds? There are at least 4 female / immature males, I can't tell the difference, and this mature male who visit the feeder in my yard. Hope you like 'em.

Those are some nice shots! Good sharp focus on the hummers. Interesting background. The only hummers we have around here are the ruby-throated so I'm not sure of the ID of yours. Thanks for sharing and catch some more.

well done

adult male has an iridescent crimson-red crown and throat, and a dark, slightly forked tail. Anna's is the only North American hummingbird species with a red crown. Females and juveniles have a green crown, a grey throat with some red markings, a grey chest and belly, and a dark, rounded tail with white tips on the outer feathers.
