I currently have PSP x9 and was wondering if the upgrade to PSP 2018 Ultimate would be worth it? I am just now starting to use PSP x9 after graduating from DPP4.

I guess you could answer this question yourself. Are you exceeding the capabilities of PSP X9? If not, what would upgrading provide you that you can't do now?

I was at one time using PSP X8 and downloaded the X9 version and found both had very lagging processing, this may just be an issue with me and not many others. After some consideration to switching to another editing software, I purchased Affinity Photo which is more of a Photoshop alternative with no monthly subscription...oh at Affinity is only $49.99. :)

That's the problem I have also, the newest version 2018 is supposed to have corrected this. I guess I am looking for someone that is using the new version to see if it performs any better. And yes I have been looking at Affinity, it seems to be a very good program.
