Canon 5 D Mark ll system estimated value

I have a buyer for my Canon 5 D Mark ll body, lenses and total kit including batteries, cable release, camera bag, flash and several other items. I need to have an idea of what the entire package is worth to start negotiations. (Haven't figured out shutter count but I am assuming around 40,000) For pricing, I have looked at several camera stores and the internet but the range of prices is so wide that it makes the info meaningless. Since I am not selling with a warranty, I know that camera store pricing is not necessarily relevant. (I also have all of the original packaging and manuals. All items are in excellent conditions with no obvious wear and tear. My buyer is willing to buy my whole system so I am willing to give him a package deal at a favorable price for taking all items. There are many at UHH that know this equipment and I would appreciate your insight as to the value of my Canon system. Please feel free to comment on individual items or the entire package. Here is my inventory:

Camera: Canon EOS 5D Mark ll

Lenses for 5D: EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM, EF 16-35 mm f/2.8 ll USM (both w/ hood and cap)

Additional items:

Canon 430EX Speedlite
Canon RS-80n3 Remote Switch
Canon Battery Charger with 2 batteries
Lowepro Backpack Camera Bag (Original price around $130)

Going price .... if sold separately

EF 16-35 mm f/2.8 ll USM - In good condition $800 - $835 .... In excellent condition $900. This includes free shipping to the lower 48.

EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM - $500 in good condition ... $600 in excellent condition, this includes free shipping in the lower 48.

IMO .... $2200 for the whole system would be a fair price

I did check eBay. I have never used eBay and I may not understand exactly how it works. For example, I saw a Canon L lens that I paid $2,000 for with an asking price of $350. I know that this will be bid up but I do not like to put my personal info and contact info on websites. I would much rather do business with a private buyer that I know.

Here is a screen shot of the lower left corner of the ebay page covering cameras. You will see a line with a check box saying sold items. Put a mark in the box and it will give you the prices of whatever item you were looking to find sold prices of.

I have - or had - everything you have listed. I did quick calculations of what I would ask for that package and I came up with $2500. I’d be willing to negotiate a bit. It depends how much you’re willing to eat on your “investment”. You’ll never get rich selling used gear, it’s just a matter of what you’ll be comfortable losing.
