A little dark but good! I'm jealous. This is something I've been wanting to do for a very long time.
they were bubble net feeding. they all get in a circle and dive and then they blow bubbles and bring all the little fish up and when they surface they catch all the little fish being bounced out of the water by their bubbles!

I've seen this on DISCOVERY. Incredible. You are so lucky to have been able to see this. Where were you and what time of the year. I'm seriously going to set this up to go.
we went 2nd. week of june. this was a day cruise out of Seward. We went on the 7. 5 hr. cruise to Kenai national park . it was a good trip thru the Gulf of Alaska. it was incredible. they dove about 7 times and did this while we were there. got so close to the boat we could smell their breath. ewww, like sewer, seriously. but the captain did say you dont see this very often, he even came out to take pics.

Been to Alaska and Seward but didn't go out in the ocean. Did a bay cruise but they said the ocean was too rough to venture out. I'm not much of boat person but I'd do it to get these shots.

How did these turn out?
Nice job, dblackard! These are the first I've seen of this kind i.e., whales feeding.
