What a difference 24 hours can make
This is what photography is all about, in a certain manner and also in my mind.
Firstly, that log there is there, I did not layer it.
Now There is a snowline there and that is where the sort of cliff is, well a very angular drop and below that if you look real closely you will see roofs on houses. The blue you see there is not the sky, it is the St-Lawrence River and look at the top of the photo, in the middle you will see a tiny bit of the shore on the other side. Between the river and the snowline you will see a yellowish patch. That is the shore and upon seeing that I know that the tide is low. Finally I played a bit with b/w, just to see what I'd get...

Love the sunrise, jimber. Most people don't show up until just before the sun comes up and miss the "pre-game "show. Like the bunting and owl too.
