I am replacing my 24mm with a new Sigma ART lens and offering my Nikkor for sale.
The lens has no scratches, dents nor fungus. It operates as expected and is great for indoor family gatherings. I'm asking $225.00 for the lens, which includes ground shipping to CONUS. Nikon still sells this lens new at $395.00.
I have no boxes nor paperwork. Being sold is the lens and end caps.
Keep that lens and forget the Sigma. The Nikon is perfect! GAS!!!! Why put a Sigma lens on a Nikon camera?

Because it is a fantastic lens. I have always thought as you, but in looking to upgrade all my prime lenses, the Sigma option came into focus quickly. Took a trip to the camera store, mounted the Sigma on my camera to take a few shots and was very impressed with the results. Still am.
If you have some time, read about the Sigma ART lenses. I've been unable to find a negative review of them. I now have the 24mm and 50mm and they are as sharp (maybe sharper) than my 70-200. I'll be getting the 85mm to round out my prime lens choices.
Is this lens still for sale?
