What! How dare you use a cellphone instead of a full-frame Nikon! Great set of pics - those new phones really do add to our photography repertoire.
Nice set......iPhones need to get more credit.
And so do the people using them.
Hi Brent,
Thanks for viewing. I got out early expecting a dramatic sunrise, but as the morning progressed the clouds to the east stayed on the horizon so no significant drama.
My wife has followed a pair of Egyptian geese as they've raised several gosling families. We're so familiar, they'll will walk right up to us even with their babies. Makes it easy to get a close shot. However, chaos occurs when the local hoodlums (mallards, coots, etc..) come around.

At one time I would have said that smart phones could not take good pictures, but they can and you proved that, love the first two. 👌👌
Thanks for viewing. It took a lot of courage to post my cellphone shots instead of my Sony images.... just kidding. I wish I could carry my big camera and lens around everywhere but I can't. We also hike a lot and there just isn't enough room in our backpacks or back muscles to include my camera gear. So the camera that I always have with me gets used a lot.

Thanks for viewing. Cellphone cameras have their strengths and have many limitations. Just like my other cameras, I'm still learning what works and what doesn't. But they do provide plenty of opportunity to have fun with photography.

Thanks for viewing and glad you enjoyed the scenes. I've found that cellphone cameras could always stand on their own if used appropriately. I wouldn't use one exclusively, they're just another opportunity to have fun with photography.

I like that pier shot very much.
iPhone X, but I've been using the 6+ for awhile also.

Thanks for viewing. That pier is a favorite place for an early morning walk. I can watch the sun rise up over the mountains in the east. Then it's just a short walk away to the local coffee shop.

Thanks for posting. I'm hoping to replace my falling apart iPhone 5 soon. It would be great to win an iPhone X from Rush Limbaugh, but it's next to impossible to get through. If I get a new one it will most likely be an iPhone 8.
The best thing about smartphone photography is it's always with you. As are the tools to edit & share it almost immediately. Something Most DSLR's can't offer.
Thanks again, beautiful images.
