Thank God for sanctuary cities. The poor undocumented immigrant who was homeless was thankfully found not guilty of killing Kate Steinle.
I am sure her parents are also grateful for the verdict seeing as they were strong proponents of sanctuary cities and voted for obummer twice because of his greatness in protecting poor innocent homeless immigrants like the wrongfully accused victim himself of the horrible Trump/Republican system.
I am sure they are thrilled that their daughter was able to die to prove how wonderful sanctuary cities are and they absolutely deserve what happened.
This is a great day for America and the democrat policies that protect the poor homeless undocumented immigrants. This is a great and wonderful day and we are all proud of the verdict of Not Guilty.

I notice there are no comments from the libs about this.
I am sure they are so proud that their comrade literally got away with murder. I can't imagine a citizen with no record would have faired so well 'eh.

IMHO, there is NO ONE who is "proud" when someone is killed.

As always, we think we know all of the facts, but we weren't on the jury.

I just don't understand why he was not found guilty of involuntary manslaughter. His actions exactly fit that discription. Either the jury ot the prosecutor had their heads up their asses. I have been up and down the coast of Ca. several times. NEVER AGAIN. I have family in CA. I will not go there they will have to come here. I think that somehow people change when they move to Ca,. I think all that shaking from the earthquakes scrambles their brains.

The facts were given.
Justice was not served for anyone.

This is truly obscene.

The only 'facts' that matter are that he was an illegal, convicted of multiple violent felonies, with multiple deportations and illegal re-entries.

I don't believe anyone is disputing that he is illegal.

Is it your opinion that he:
1) killed her deliberately
2) killed her accidently
3) doesn't matter because he is illegal?

It doesn't matter that he was illegal, he was not tried for that. He did not kill her deliberately, the bullet ricoched off a wall. He DID kill her accidentally. That is the classic definition of involuntary manslaughter. For which there is a stiff penalty. The conviction of illegal weapons possession alone is an insult to the justice system. California is a discrace

If one is to believe that he "found" the gun on the pier, then I think even the possession charge is bogus.

However, I am very skeptical that he "found" the gun...which means possession is the minimum and that since he shouldn't even have had the gun,in the first place,
Involuntary Manslaughter would be appropriate.

He was/is an illegal. He does not have a history of violence He does have multiple deportations and illegal reentries. The bullet bounced off the ground more than 80 feet from the victim before killing her. That's fairly impressive gunmanship, or it could have been an accident as was reported. Anyone here care to claim they could do that?

As long as it can be used to put forward your beliefs, the facts really aren't that important to you, are they?

And here I thought that You Thought this was a wonderful world on a wonderful day, and only I was the one filled with hate.

Truth has a way of outing itself, as it has in your case.

involuntary manslaughter usual involves negligence. I wasn't there. I haven't been glued to the tube following it, but I am unaware of negligence.
The ranger who allowed the gun to be taken from his vehicle should have been held accountable instead of having been given a promotion.

Once again you ‘prove’ that you know more than anyone or more than everyone. When someone think he knows more than reality, when he thinks he is the judge of reality, he soon thinks he should rule reality, and that’s when the trouble sets in, and a career ends in the rubber room.

Satisfactory mental health doesn’t mean someone who judges reality, or someone who defines reality, but someone who strives to understand reality.

Try it you’ll sleep better, and it will keep you out of the sanitarium.
